Samsung’s June 2021 security patch update brings fixes for 2 Critical, 27 High, and 5 Moderate levels of CVEs as well as 19 SVEs to Galaxy phones and tablets. While fixes for 9 new CVEs already included in previous updates and 4 not applicable to Samsung devices.

Do note that Samsung offers regular security updates on a monthly, quarterly, and biannual basis. All the flagship devices get two years of monthly updates, while mid-range and budgets get new updates every three months. Furthermore, older phones receive two new security updates in the fourth year.

US unlocked Galaxy S24 gets advanced Auto Blocker with November 2024 update
After locked models, Samsung has started releasing the November 2024 security update for unlocked Galaxy S24 models in the US. This update includes a new Auto Blocker feature and the latest security patch to make your phone more secure.
Users of the unlocked Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra models can identify the November 2024 security update with One UI builds S921U1UES4AXJA, S926U1UES4AXJA, and S928U1UES4AXJA respectively.
What’s New
The fresh update arrives with a new Auto Blocker feature. When you turn this on and set it to Maximum restrictions, your phone will only allow USB connections for charging. This means that other devices won’t be able to connect to your phone via USB, which helps protect your data if someone has physical access to your device.
While this feature provides extra-strong security, it will limit some of your phone’s functions. For example, you won’t be able to transfer files between your phone and other devices using a USB cable.
Moreover, the update installs the latest Android security patch to improve system security and stability to enhance overall performance. Samsung is yet to release the details of the November 2024 security patch on its Scope page.
How to Update?
Firstly, make sure your phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network to avoid using mobile data. Now, visit your phone’s Settings >> Scroll down and tap on Software Update >> Tap on the Download and Install option. Follow the prompts to complete the installation.
After the update is installed, you can turn on the “Auto Blocker” feature in the settings to enhance your device’s security. This update brings useful improvements for Samsung Galaxy S24 users, helping to protect their personal information.

Samsung has pushed the November 2024 security update for Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra phones in the US. This update boosts the stability and security of your Galaxy S23 phone.
Users of the Galaxy S23 are currently getting this update on the Verizon network carrier in the US. Samsung will soon expand it to unlocked models and other countries.
The fresh update is based on Android 14 and One UI 6.1.1. It protects Galaxy devices against security threats by integrating Android and Samsung’s latest security patches. Moreover, it fixes bugs encountered in previous software to provide a more reliable and efficient user experience.
November 2024 security update for the Samsung Galaxy S23 series in the US can be verified through One UI builds given below:

After the Galaxy Tab S7 FE, Samsung has started releasing the November 2024 security update for the latest Galaxy S series, the Galaxy S24. The update is available for locked models on the Verizon network carrier in the US.
The fresh update provides the most up-to-date Android security patch on your device to improve performance. It fixes several issues to make your Galaxy S24 more stable, reliable, and secure.
Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra models are receiving the November 2024 security update in the US with One UI builds S921USQS4AXJA, S926USQS4AXJA, and S928USQS4AXJA. The company will soon expand it to unlocked models.
It is an initial rollout so it may take some hours or days to reach all models. Currently, it is limited to users in the US, and in other countries, users will receive it in the coming days to weeks.
