Last month, Samsung kicked off a new firmware update for the Galaxy A72 smartphones, which included a newer security patch, improvements for video call effects features, and enhancements for Camera performance.
Now, the Korean tech giant has started to release a fresh software update to its most premium mid-range smartphone, commonly known as Galaxy A72 in select markets such as Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine. Identified via version number: A725FXXU2AUF3, the update installs June 2021 security patch.
According to Samsung, the latest security patch update brings fixes for 47 CVEs from Google and 19 SVEs from Samsung in order to increase the Galaxy devices’ system security. At the same time, the update also improves the performance of stock apps for a better overall user experience.
You can check for the updates manually by navigating to your device Settings, select the Software updates, and tap on Download and install.
Back in March 2021, Samsung launched Galaxy A72 as its latest and premium smartphone offering, which belongs to the popular Galaxy A series. This device ships with the up-to-date software system with One UI 3.1 on top of the Android 11 operating system.
