India: Samsung Galaxy Note 10 June 2021 security update starts rolling out!

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Update

Samsung started rolling out a new software update to the Galaxy Note 10 series devices in India. This new update installs the latest Android and One UI patches released in June 2021.

However, the Galaxy Note 10 series had already received this new security patch in several European countries. And it looks like that the company has verified the stability of this firmware as it’s expanding to more markets.

In terms of identification, users can identify this update via release numbers: N970FXXS7FUEB and N975FXXS7FUEB for the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ respectively.

The June 2021 security patch brings fixes for dozens of CVEs (including 2 critical exploits) from Google and 19 SVEs from Samsung in order to enhance the overall system security and stability.

Recently, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite, which is an affordable variant of the Galaxy Note 10 series,  has received the June 2021 security update in Europe.

You can check for the updates manually by opening your device’s Settings, then find and select the Software updates menu, wait until the phone detects a new OTA update, and finally tap on Download and install.
