Samsung started sending a new software update to its second-generation folding smartphone, which brings system security improvements. After numerous models, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is the latest to get the June 2021 security patch via a new firmware update in select markets.

Specifically, the new Galaxy Z Fold 2 June 2021 security patch update is currently rolling out in Ukraine, carrying PDA version number – F916BXXS1DUE5. Though it is an initial release, the company will extend its reach to more markets in the coming days or weeks.

However, Samsung has recently released the June 2021 security bulletin, which shows this update brings fixes for 34 CVEs from Google and 19 SVEs from Samsung. Moreover, it also enhances the system functions for a better overall user experience.

If you own a Galaxy Z Fold 2 smartphone then you can manually check for the June 2021 security update by navigating to device Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install.

On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is confirmed to get the upcoming One UI version 3.5. Although we can’t confirm the exact release date of the One UI 3.5 update, it will arrive most probably in September this year.
