Later last year, Samsung updated the Android 10-based Galaxy S20 FE models to the One UI version 3.0 on top of Google’s Android 11 operating system. Moving on, the company had also delivered the One UI 3.1 update, which was debuted earlier this year and brings a handful of user-friendly features.
Continuing its commitment to offer monthly security updates to the Galaxy S20 FE smartphone, the company has started sending a new software update, which improves the system. According to the info, the new Galaxy S20 FE update brings the latest June 2021 security patch, which is yet to be detailed.
In terms of availability, it’s currently rolling out in China bearing firmware version: G7810ZCS2CUE2. Since it is an initial distribution, Samsung will not take too much time to expand the availability of this firmware to other regions outside the Chinese market.
If you own a Galaxy S20 FE smartphone, you can manually check for the June 2021 security update by heading towards device Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install.
One UI 3.5 to come soon, followed by Android 12
Hey! Galaxy S20 FE user, you will be getting the One UI 3.5 update, which will include several new changes and minor UI tweaks, just after launching the Galaxy Z Fold 3 this summer. However, it is an incremental update based on the same Android 11 OS, but the next year’s Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update will bring massive changes.
