Just recently, Samsung released the May 2021 patch for the Galaxy A71 smartphones in Brazil. Instead of expanding this update to more regions, the company has begun sending fresh firmware for this device, which includes the latest security patch to date.
According to the info, the South Korean tech giant started to release the June 2021 security update to the Galaxy A71 phones in a US territory called Puerto Rican. This new software comes with version number A715FXXS4BUE1 and focuses on the system’s security improvements.
Aside from this, it also enhances the One UI and stock applications for a better overall user experience. To be noted, Samsung will gradually release this new Galaxy A71 update to more markets in the coming days, so if you have not yet received the June update, then wait for some time.
Reminder: As you know, the Galaxy A71 released with Android 10 along with eligibility for three major Android OS upgrades. That means you will be getting the One UI 3.5 update (Android 11) later this year, followed by Android 12 next year, and Android 13 in 2023.
In order to check for software updates manually, just open device Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install>> Install now.
