Just recently, Samsung showed off an example of its iconic software development section by releasing the next month’s security patch even before turning the calendar month. Unsurprisingly, the Galaxy S21 series is the first to pick up the June 2021 security patch, while currently it’s limited to South Korea.
Now, it looks like Samsung is all set to update all of its flagship devices with the June 2021 security patch in the month of May as another Galaxy phone has recently grabbed it. According to the info, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G has begun receiving the June 2021 security patch in various European countries.
Identified via PDA software version: F707BXXS3DUE1, this update making its way to Austria, Baltic region, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Italy, Nordic countries, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Netherlands, and UK. Furthermore, the company will not take too much time to push a broader rollout.
Of course, Samsung has not yet released the June 2021 security bulletin that details the bugs and fixes of this update. If the history is any indication, the detailed security patch will be published in the first week of June 2021, just after Google publishes its bulletin for Android-based devices.
