Samsung impressively upgraded not only the newer but older Galaxy flagship to Android 13 within a month of the initial rollout. The Galaxy A71 and Galaxy Note 10 Lite from 2020 are running the latest Android 13-based One UI 5.0, however, the Galaxy S10 Lite users are still waiting for it.
The company promised to upgrade the Galaxy Note 10 Lite and Galaxy S10 Lite in December 2022, meanwhile, the former got the Android 13 update ahead of schedule. Since the rollout has not yet happened widely, Note 10 Lite users in various countries got access to the new operating system.
Galaxy Note 10 Lite and Galaxy S10 Lite are some of the luckiest smartphones released by Samsung. Up from their parent lineups, the Lite variants of Galaxy S10 and Note 10 series shipped with Android 10-based One UI 2.x, and the three OS upgrades policy makes them eligible for Android 13.
Except for the Galaxy S10 Lite, all flagship-grade and affordable flagships started getting upgraded to the major Android 13 operating system. Well, the Korean tech giant is scheduled to upgrade the S10 Lite with Android 13 in December, users are just hoping early rollout as others received.
Samsung’s Android 13 update comes with various new features and improvements to the system functions. The new One UI 5.0 features allow you to copy text from any image or camera preview, apply Dynamic Icons on all forms of apps such as Samsung, Google and third-party and easier lockscreen customization.
Apart from this, the One UI 5.0 lets you completely disable the RAM Plus feature so you can prevent your phone from occupying internal storage for virtual RAM. The newly added wallpaper section brings over a dozen of new wallpapers for home and lock screen including Graphical and Colour.
