Samsung One UI 5.0 Modes – Newest addition to the Settings
Samsung pushed the third One UI 5.0 beta update for Galaxy S22 smartphones, which arrived with a slew of fixes. Apart from these improvements, the company has brought a new tab with the One UI 5 called – Modes.

Modes is a new addition to One UI 5’s Settings, created by removing the Bixby Routines in the Advanced settings. In Modes Tab you can add, remove and edit a variety of modes and routines as well. It is a machine-based service designed to adapt to your life and suggest ways to streamline your phone time.
One UI 5.0 Modes:
One UI 5 has provided an easy way to open the mode, now you can open it directly by going to the settings of your smartphone, which is better than before.
Now, you can choose any of the modes depending on what you’re doing or where you go. Your smartphone’s settings will automatically change to match your activity and situation.
This section has two parts – Modes and Routines. You can change them by tapping on these options which are placed at the bottom.

Routines
Here you can add your daily routine tasks or anything else you want to do on time. You can add here the starting time and what you would like to open first just by taking the mobile in your hand.
You can add home, office, and other places where you want the routine to be activated at the right time. For this, you have to turn on the location as well as need to turn on Improve Location Accuracy in Google Location Accuracy settings.
How to add Mode or Routine?
You can easily add a mode or routine on your Galaxy device just need to follow the steps below.
- Open Settings on your Samsung smartphone.
- Click Modes options.
- Press the Plus button which is located in the right corner.
- A create mode pop-up window appears, click on Custom.
- Here you can set the name, color, and symbol.
- Tap on Done.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G smartphone is finally getting the One UI 5.1.1 update, which brings many improvements and new features to the device. The update is rolling out for locked variants in the US.

The update also improves the Flex mode, which lets users use more apps with the Flex mode panel, customize the toolbar, and access improved media controls. Aside from this, the update also enhances the Camera and Gallery apps, which offer more date and time styles for watermarks, enhanced remaster previews, easier effect adjustments, and copy and paste effects. It adds some additional changes, such as drag and drop with two hands, app cache clearing, and enhanced memory management.

In addition to South Korea and Germany, Samsung has now launched the Android 14-based One UI 6 Beta in the US. Users of carrier-unlocked or T-Mobile branded Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, or S23 Ultra smartphones can now sign up to get the Beta firmware via OTA.
It’s worth mentioning that the One UI 6 Beta is only available for T-Mobile and carrier-unlocked Galaxy S23 models in the US. This means Verizon, AT&T, US Cellular, and other carrier users have no other option than waiting for the official rollout.
One UI 6 Beta comes with a redesigned Quick Panel, which looks stunning and well-crafted for accessibility. The animations are also tweaked but require further optimization as the current situation of transition effects is not up to the mark.
