The Galaxy A52s entered the smartphone market with Android 11-based One UI 3.x OS out of the box. The device later received the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 and One UI 4.1 update earlier this year. Android 13-based One UI 5.0 is the next major switch for the device, while the Android 14-based One UI 6 will be the last.

But users are not satisfied with this treatment of the company when the phone is totally worth 4 for the major Android update. The company should also provide advanced software treatment for select older mid-range phones, such as Galaxy A52, A52s, and A72, as well.

Samsung confirms 4 Android updates for Galaxy A52s:

Recently, a manager of Samsung UK Twitter has confirmed 4 updates, however, it’s not valid. A Galaxy A52s user shared information that his phone has received the August 2022 security patch. In reply to this, Samsung UK reminded him that the A52s support up to 5 years of security updates.

But nothing has changed on the software updates support page for the Galaxy A52. It still mentions 3 major Android OS updates and4 years of security patches.

On the other hand, Samsung has begun stable Android 13-based One UI 5.0 testing for the Galaxy A52s smartphones. At this time, there’s no confirmation on when the update will go live, it’s expected to be released by November or December month this year.
