Last week, Samsung started to roll out the January 2022 Android security update for Galaxy Fold smartphones. In a recent development, the company is expanding the Galaxy Fold January 2022 update in the Korean markets.

This software update will improve the security and stability of your device. In addition, it will also protect your phone from avoided bugs and viruses that affect system performance. Moreover, the update can be identified via the One UI build version F907NKOU3GULB.

If you are a Galaxy Fold user, you can download this software update by visiting the Settings. From here tap on System updates > and then click on Download and install. Wait for the phone to check for available updates, finally, tap on Download now and bring it to your device.

So far, a bunch of Samsung Galaxy devices have received the Android 12 based One UI 4.0 update worldwide, the Galaxy Fold is one of them. In a recent development, the company is rolling out the January 2022 Android security update for Galaxy Fold smartphones.

As of now, this software update is released in Indonesian markets. However, it will reach other region users in the coming days or weeks. Moreover, the Galaxy Fold January 2022 update comes with the One UI build version F900FXXU6GUL9.

It aims to enhance the security and stability of your device’s system alongside improving its performance. In addition, the security update prevents a device from unwanted bugs and viruses. You may also notice some minor changes and improvements after installing it in your Galaxy Fold.

Samsung Galaxy Fold:

Launched back in March 2019, Galaxy Fold is the first-generation foldable smartphone offered by the Korean tech giant. It arrived with an Android 9 (Pie) based One UI 1 software system out of the box. Later it received Android 10 and Android 11 updates and is currently running on the Android 12 based One UI 4.0 version.

It features a 7.3 inches Foldable Dynamic AMOLED display, a 160.9 x 117.9 x 6.9 mm screen when unfolded while 160.9 x 62.9 x 15.5 mm when folded. Moreover, the device comes with Snapdragon 855 chipset and a powerful 4380mAh battery with a 15W fast and wireless charging technologies.

In terms of camera, it is equipped with a 16MP triple rear camera setup that consists of a 12MP wide, 16MP telephoto, and a 12MP ultrawide angle camera. There’s also a dual selfie shooter, such as 10MP and 8MP.

Samsung rolling out the Good Lock April 2024 update through the Galaxy Store. The release brings functional improvements and bug fixes to Samsung’s One UI customization suite.

The update’s changelog mentions improvement for the “Update all” function. Bug fixes are also included which should improve the customization experience. Hence, Galaxy users are advised to install the latest version as soon as they receive it via the Galaxy Store.

Good Lock’s latest update comes as a fresh release over the last that happened in late January. The application hasn’t received any new updates in February and March. This makes the April release a significant update in terms of bringing improvements.

Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones are getting an April 2024 security update in Korea, following the release in the US, India, Canada, and Europe. The update improves system security and stability to provide a better Galaxy experience.

Users of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series can identify the April 2024 security update in Korea through One UI build version S91xNKSS2CXD5 and an installation package size of around 366.43MB.

The latest patch fixes over 40 issues to make the smartphone more secure, stable, and reliable. It mainly resolves problems related to Storage Manager Service, Out of bounds write, and more.

You can check the update by navigating to the device’s Settings, then a Software update, and Download and install. If you have received the update, install it now to get enhanced features.

Samsung has released the April 2024 security update for its Galaxy Tab S9 series in Europe, following an initial release in Korea. This update is based on the One UI 6.1 and is mainly focused on improving security and stability for the devices.

April 2024  security update for Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9 Plus, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra in Europe can be recognized by the One UI build version ending with BXD2 and weighing around 340MB.

It is important to note that this update does not introduce any new features or changes but addresses several security issues. It includes fixes for one critical and 26 high-level security vulnerabilities, along with 17 issues specific to Samsung.

Users of the Galaxy Tab S9 series in Europe can manually check for this update. To do so, they should go to the “System Settings” of their device, select the “Software update” option, and then click on “Download and install.”

If any update is available, install it now. This process will ensure that their device is up-to-date with the latest security provided by Samsung.
