Samsung Galaxy A71 gets July 2021 update with RCS and 360 audio support
Samsung is now releasing a new software update for the Galaxy A71 smartphone, which brings the July 2021 security patch. Initially, the firmware rollout is taking place in Mexico, which can be identified via PDA version number: A715FXXU5BUF5.
If we go with the changelog of this update, it mentions a handful of new features, system improvements, bug fixes, and more, which makes it a feature-packed Galaxy A71 software update! At the same time, it enhances all the stock apps and system functions for a better overall user experience.
Samsung Galaxy A71 July 2021 update
According to the info, the Galaxy A71 July 2021 update brings support for Google’s Rich Communication Service a.k.a. RCS, which introduces enhanced messaging experience and features. Furthermore, it adds a new 360 audio feature that works with Galaxy Buds Pro and delivers theatre-like surround sound.

Samsung Galaxy A71 Android 12 Status
Earlier this year, Samsung delivered the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update for the Galaxy A71 handset, followed by One UI 3.1 in late Q1 2021. Now, we are expecting that the device should also get the One UI 3.1.1 version through a software update, which will be released on August 11 alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 3.

Users of Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones can verify the May 2024 update through One UI build versions ending with CXD7. The update is currently rolling out for locked models on some network carriers in the US.
May 2024 security update fixes 45 vulnerabilities, out of which Google has addressed 33. It includes 3 vulnerabilities as Critical and 26 as High-level. The patch also has 25 Samsung-specific enhancements. It fixes issues related to Secure Folder, multitasking framework, and more.
