New Galaxy Unpacked teaser shows us a glimpse at the ‘most powerful Galaxy’ device
Recently, Apple held their April Spring event, dubbed ‘Spring Loaded’ which lived up to its name and surprised us with good innovative tech goodies. Now following the tradition, Samsung announced their 3rd consecutive ‘Galaxy Unpacked’ event streaming live on the 28th of April 2021 at 7.30 pm IST.
Moreover, the company just dropped a new teaser video on its official Twitter handle that hyped the heat for this new event. Most interestingly, the Korean tech giant calling this gathering “The Most Powerful Galaxy is coming”.
What to expect from the new ‘Galaxy Unpacked’ event
In the last two unpacked events, Samsung unveiled the flagship Galaxy S21 series and the Galaxy A52/A72 smartphones respectively. This month with the ongoing pandemic and increased tenures on working from home, it is almost confirmed that the company is set to launch some big screens devices.
Well, it not about some new Galaxy tablets because the market has seen a steep rise in the demand for laptops, and hence it is assumed the upcoming unpacked event will showcase some laptops in the name of Galaxy Books.
According to rumors and speculations, Samsung is set to launch the Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360 featuring OLED displays in 13-inch and 15-inch sizes, 5G connectivity, and Thunderbolt 4 ports. Besides, to get powered their specs may include 11th Gen. Intel Core processors.
However, the upcoming notebooks could also be coming with the support for the S Pen stylus and having an ergonomic 360-degree hinge design. Apart from this, the Go version of Galaxy Book is also eminent to be launched with the above-mentioned laptops.

Samsung just trolled Apple over reports of faulty iPhone alarms. The company’s UK account posted the mockery Reels on Instagram, trolling Apple following reports from some iPhone users regarding the alarms problem.
It isn’t the first time Samsung is making fun of its biggest rival. The Korean tech giant doesn’t have sweet relationships with Apple’s iPhone business, as it’s the biggest rival internationally apart from the US leadership.
“Rest assured our alarms GO OFF,” the company writes (via TechRadar) in its latest meme-based Instagram post, adding in the caption: “Samsung users woke up on time today.”
Samsung has a long history of mocking Apple, which is refreshed with the latest incident. While the Instagram post doesn’t clearly mention Apple or iPhone anywhere, the subject of the meme-based post is a no-brainer.
iPhone Alarms Bug
Due to iOS setting issue, iPhone alarms are not working properly, some Apple users report. The iPhone maker acknowledged the issue saying “an issue causing some iPhone alarms to not play as expected.” The best part is the company is preparing a fix, which should be rolled out soon.

Samsung and O2 Telefónica deployed their first 5G vRAN and Open RAN commercial site in Germany. This exciting news came right from Samsung’s Global Newsroom, making the company’s 5G vRAN solution being used in a commercial network in Germany.
Back in October 2023, both companies agreed to develop a roadmap for several tests of vRAN and Open RAN. Following the extensive trials, O2 Telefónica and Samsung are now progressing from lab to field with the launch of this first commercial site.
O2 Telefónica is working on an even more efficient network leveraging modern and advanced RAN, open interfaces, and automation capabilities. Based on open interfaces, operators can combine network components from different providers and integrate them into their network.
The Korean tech giant revealed that the site operating in Landsberg am Lech, Bavaria, providing high-performance and reliable 4G and 5G services. In the coming months, the companies will expand the vRAN and Open RAN network to 7 additional sites in the region.
