April 2021 security update now rolling out for Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e running One UI 3.1
Just recently, Samsung released two remarkable software updates including an Android 11 update to its entry-level Galaxy A01 smartphone and the latest security patch to its four years older Galaxy Note 8 flagship.
Not only phones, but the company is also sending different s/w updates to its tablets as per their eligibility. Talking about a specific device, the Galaxy Tab S5e had received a major update, which comes with One UI 3.1 and Android 11 features starting this month.
According to the latest information, the Korean phone maker is now bringing fresh firmware [T725XXS2CUD1] to the Galaxy Tab S5e users that improve the system security by implementing the latest April 2021 security patch. However, it’s a minor s/w but brings the up-to-date security patch in order to keep your tablet security against different threats. As per the info, April 2021’s patch improves system security by fixing 30 critical CVEs from Google and 21 CVEs from Samsung.
Talking about previous update, the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update offers a redesigned user interface as well as new features like – Eye Comfort Shield, Object Eraser, Private Share, Samsung Free, Google Duo integration with stock dialer app, buds Auto Switching, ability to remove location data before sharing and more. Samsung has started rolling out the advanced 4G band support update for Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro, Galaxy XCover 7, and Galaxy XCover 6 devices. The update 4G network compatibility by enhancing the band.
The fresh update has revised support for the LTE TDD band. For German-purchased devices, the update will disable TDD 4G network support in ten European countries including Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic.
In addition, the update also improves the security and stability of the device. It also fixes some issues for error-free services.

Google has rolled out a ‘Government’ badge on the Play Store to identify official apps. This badge is marked by an icon of a building and appears in various sections of the store, including the main app feed, search results, and on app pages, next to the app’s rating.
Over 3,000 official apps have received the government badge after a period of testing. Google has collaborated with the respective governments and their developers to ensure the authenticity of these apps.
The badge is now visible on official apps from state and federal governments in several countries, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, the UK, and the US.
It is recommended by official parties or agencies to use government emails when setting up their developer accounts. Apps that involve sensitive information, like voting or ID services, undergo extra verification.
By clicking on the badge, you can confirm that the app is verified and affiliated with a government entity. This new feature aims to provide users with a secure way to access government services through their mobile devices.
