After the Galaxy S20 flagship series, Samsung started releasing a new firmware update to the affordable variant of this lineup. The Galaxy S20 FE is now more secure as it’s begun receiving the latest Android and One UI patch.
According to the info, the company just released its July 2021 security patch to the Galaxy S20 FE smartphones in India with a new software update. The S20 FE owners can identify this release via PDA firmware version G780FXXU4CUG1.

It’s noteworthy that Samsung pushed an initial rollout as select Galaxy S20 FE owners have received the July update over the air. As of now, we don’t have the release note, but we will update this article with exact changes whenever the OTA update arrives.

On the other hand, the Korean tech giant has recently confirmed that its July update brings fixes for 41 CVE items from Google and 8 SVE items from Samsung. Additionally, this update should enhance the system functions and stock applications as well.
How to check for update manually?
As always, just open your device’s Settings, scroll down then tap on the Software updates menu. Wait for update checking and hit the Download and install button if the device recognizes a new OTA update.

The fresh security patch fixes over 40 issues to enhance the system security and stability of the devices. Through this update, the Korean tech giant aims to provide an uninterrupted and intuitive experience.
Users will have to download a 263.90MB package to install the April 2024 update on their Galaxy S20 FE 5G smartphone in India. To check and install you just need to visit Settings >> Software Update >> Download and install.

Welcome Galaxy Fans! Samsung is regularly enhancing the user experience by regularly providing updates for its One UI devices and software. In the fourth week of April 2024, Samsung deployed the latest One UI update to several Galaxy devices.
April 2024 security update does not include One UI 6.1 features for the Galaxy S22 series, along with the Z Fold 4 and Flip 4. These devices are scheduled to receive the update in the next week.
