Verizon sending February 2021 security update to Samsung Galaxy A10e
Verizon started rolling out a new software update to the Samsung Galaxy A10e smartphones in the US. Identified via version number A102USQU9BUB1, it installs the latest Android patches released in February 2021 for enhanced system security.
Alongside this, the new firmware brings system optimizations and improvements to the functions for a better user experience. If you’ve owned a Galaxy A10e phone and using it on Verizon’s network, then check for the update notification and complete the installation process.
What’s changing:
- The current software update provides performance improvements and the most up to date Android security patches on your device.
On the other hand, the carrier is continuously releasing the One UI 3.1 features for the eligible Samsung Galaxies. And, the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy S10 lineup will soon start getting this major update as they have already updated to the One UI 3.1 version outside the US.
Coming back, since it is an initial rollout so it may take a bit longer to be available for every Galaxy A10e unit. Till then, you can also check for the updates manually by navigating to device Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install.
