With the launching of the clamshell foldable smartphone, Galaxy Z Flip, Samsung brought an innovative display technology. Moving on this, the company has expanded the foldable screen smartphones and unveiled the Galaxy Fold, which is the first foldable smartphone by Samsung.
In September this year, the South Korean tech giant has launched the Galaxy Z Fold 2 as a successor to the first generation Galaxy Fold. It is an upgraded variant of its predecessor with impressive design and hardware capabilities.
According to a tipster, IceUniverse, Samsung is developing a scrollable smartphone that could be named as Galaxy Z Fold Scroll. The leakster shared an image of a smartphone that can be folded in and out. If the information becomes true, we may see a rollable display smartphone by Samsung by 2021 or the year after.
Meanwhile, Oppo has showcased the Oppo X 2021 sliding display smartphone in its recent event. Which could be launched in the coming year. If Samsung is really planning to do something like that then it could irritate Chinese smartphone makers.
As reported previously, Samsung is also planning to add another foldable smartphone in its Galaxy Z Fold lineup which could be Galaxy Z Fold 3. This device is rumored to launch with S Pen support, an under-display camera sensor, and second-gen ultra-thin glass technology.
Furthermore, with the launching of the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Samsung might put the Z Fold series into the mainstream by ending the Galaxy Note series.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra FCC listing shows just 25W fast charging
A couple of days ago, Samsung Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ models have appeared on the FCC database and now their high-end model Galaxy S23 Ultra has got approval from FCC. This listing reveals some of the key functions of the Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphone.
As per the new information from the FCC website, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphone will feature 25W fast charging (EP-TA800). However, that’s not the truth. The Galaxy S23 Ultra will use 45W fast charging similar to its predecessor Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Samsung generally tests its phones with the same 25W charger, even after the devices support faster-charging standards. The same is the case with Galaxy S23 Ultra. The company has tested the upcoming high-end model with just a 25W charger while it supports 45W fast charging.
Furthermore, the S23 Ultra’s battery with model number EB-BS918ABY is also listed on the FCC certification site. Earlier it was revealed that EB-BS918ABY is a 5000mAh battery, which means this phone will sport a bigger battery compared to its predecessor.
Aside from this, the Galaxy S23 Ultra FCC listing also reveals Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax), which also seems wrong because the phone is confirmed to feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor supporting Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be). We might get a clear information on the matter through Wi-Fi Alliance certification in the coming time.
One of the major upgrades that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will get is the Camera. The device will come with a 200MP primary camera and this camera is significantly enhanced over any Android device. It will offer more natural details and less noise to the pictures whereas, the Night Mode is also improved a lot. Read more
Samsung Galaxy M54 benchmarks with Exynos 1380, Android 13
Alongside the flagship Galaxy S23 series, a bunch of mid-range and budget Samsung smartphones is also coming to the markets very soon. Recently, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M54 5G smartphone has appeared on the Geekbench database, which reveals some important details including Exynos 1380 processor.
Earlier, the Galaxy M54 was reported to come with a flagship-grade Snapdragon 888 mobile platform. Unfortunately, that’s not the truth. Yesterday, the forthcoming Samsung mid-range smartphone has shown up on Geekbench, which reveals that Galaxy M54 will come equipped with Exynos 1380 SoC.
Samsung’s Exynos 1380 processor has recently visited the Indian authority’s certification, which suggets that the processor will come with Bluetooth 5.3 support via a separate RF chip called Samsung Bluetooth Controller v6.
It is expected that the upcoming chipset will feature at least two ARM Cortex-A series high-performance CPU cores and the Mali-series GPU for faster performance compared to the predecessor Exynos 1280.
Other than the processor, the Galaxy M53 Geekbench listing further confirms the device’s 8GB RAM. However, the phone will surely get other RAM variants. On the software side, the benchmark reveals Android 13 OS. It means that the M54 should drive One UI 5.0 software out of the box.
As far as the performance is concerned, the Galaxy M54 5G scored 750 points in the single-core tests and 2,696 points in the multi-core benchmarks.
Besides these, previous information reveals that the phone could equip a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display (China-made display) that has Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It could feature a massive 6,000mAh for all-day work and supports 25W fast charging.
On the side of camera, the upcoming smartphone could bring a 32MP camera on the front side. Whereas, the rear side could have a 64MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP macro camera.
