Google Chrome will soon be able to take and edit screenshots of web pages
Google Chrome has already released various latest features, such as new Android apps widgets, easy password access to mobile, and an advanced search panel. Google has added screenshots to Chrome for Android with the latest version of Chrome 94, but for now, there is no desktop version tool (via-XDA).
And now, Google is exploring the method of capturing and editing screenshots of web pages. Available a few months ago, Google Chrome on Android was able to take and edit screenshots with its custom tool, bypassing system screenshot tools. Custom Editor for Android supports cropping, drawing, and adding text overlays.
As seen by TechDows, the Chrome Canary for desktop platforms seems to add the same screenshot feature. The new flag added to Chrome 98, now live on the Canary release channel, shows that Google works with “editing flow” of screenshots taken within the browser using its built-in sharing menu. Unfortunately, at this time we cannot see what the editor looks like, as the functionality is not yet working.
There is also an ‘Edit’ button on the screenshot popup, but for now, that just opens a blank page. It is not yet clear what marking options will be available in the Chrome screen editor, but the ability to override (or blur) the parts of the screenshot may help, at least.
Some Chromium-based browsers already use their own screenshot tools, such as Web Capture in Microsoft Edge which supports scrolling and editing. As Google adds a screenshot tool to Chrome, it should be a little work for Chromium-based web browsers to use the same tools.
Samsung has rolled out a new update for its popular Glance app with version 2.3.04. This latest enhances user interaction with the app through functional improvements and bug fixes.

Samsung has rolled out an April 2024 update for the Call app on One UI devices, bringing it to version 15.2.00.62. The update is available on the Galaxy Store with a package size of 26.89 MB.
The update improves the app by fixing bugs that affect performance and stability. In addition, it enhances some functions of the apps to provide a better experience. Although no new features are introduced, users can expect a more reliable app experience after the update.
Samsung Call April 2024 update is compatible with Galaxy devices running Android 13 or Android 14. To install the update, users should go to the Galaxy Store, open the menu, and select ‘Updates’. Then, they can refresh the Call app listing to start the update process.
Aside from this, Samsung also provides a feature that allows users to customize their call screen. To change the call background, users can open the Call app, go to the menu, select ‘Settings’, and then ‘Call Background’. Here, they can choose an image or video to set as the background for incoming calls.
