Google Photos adds new option to edit time and date of uploaded images and videos on Android
Google Photos is a popular gallery app because it offers a beautiful set of features and freely syncs media across all your devices. The auto-save feature in Google Photos is a blessing if you use multiple devices, and if you have a Pixel device, you can also use the app’s locked folders feature to protect sensitive images.
Recently, Google added another new feature to the app that may seem insignificant but may be helpful to more people. The feature mentioned allows you to edit the date and time of the media directly in the Google Photos app.
If you clicked an image or took a video and the date and time displayed in the app are not true, you can now switch it to the correct details within the app itself. Previously, Google Photos did not have this built-in capability, meaning users had to use third-party applications to change the date and time. However, Google has now removed this feature from both Android and iOS versions of the app.
As you can see in the attached screenshots, a new edit button appears next to the date and time you swipe from the image in Google Photos. You can click it to change the date and time. The iOS version of the app does not have an edit button, however. Therefore, you should tap the date and time of the change.
It’s important to note that this feature has been available in the web version of Google Photos for quite some time, and it’s good that Google is finally bringing it to the mobile version. If you don’t see a feature on your device, you can try updating to the latest version of Google Photos from the Google Play Store.

Samsung has rolled out an April 2024 update for the Call app on One UI devices, bringing it to version 15.2.00.62. The update is available on the Galaxy Store with a package size of 26.89 MB.
The update improves the app by fixing bugs that affect performance and stability. In addition, it enhances some functions of the apps to provide a better experience. Although no new features are introduced, users can expect a more reliable app experience after the update.
Samsung Call April 2024 update is compatible with Galaxy devices running Android 13 or Android 14. To install the update, users should go to the Galaxy Store, open the menu, and select ‘Updates’. Then, they can refresh the Call app listing to start the update process.
Aside from this, Samsung also provides a feature that allows users to customize their call screen. To change the call background, users can open the Call app, go to the menu, select ‘Settings’, and then ‘Call Background’. Here, they can choose an image or video to set as the background for incoming calls.
