Latest WhatsApp beta includes new voice waveforms for iOS and Android devices
Just recently, WhatsApp brings new changes with a new update and introduces voice formats on both iOS and Android devices. The voice recording user interface obtains two new features that will enhance the user experience.
Earlier, the app received new UI colors, a business information refresh panel, a larger update preview link, and more. In addition, the team also works with message limit disappearance, multi-device 2.0, and message response.

According to Wabetainfo, this new update mainly brings two functions – voice conversion and the ability to stop recording voice messages. While recording a voice message, users can see real-time formats that will reflect their voice.
Updated Version Number

- iOS- 2.21.170.15
In addition, they can stop recording activity at any time during the recording and listen to it before sending it. With this customizable, no worries about sending a good WhatsApp voice message in real-time.
Here’s the preview of the new changes in this update
Here you can see that while recording a message, it will now display waveforms that match the tone of the voice and you can even stop recording in the middle of the pause button.
After recording the message you can listen to it and you can delete it, depending on your preference. Below you can check out the updated version and availability of both platforms.
WhatsApp has recently begun sending this update to certain beta testers on both platforms. If WhatsApp voice waveforms aren’t enabled on your device yet, you can wait a while.
We do not know when, if possible, this feature will be released to end-users. If WhatsApp decides to use the voice waveforms feature, it will come first in WhatsApp beta. But considering how early this feature is, we do not expect it to reach WhatsApp anytime soon.
WhatsApp introduces transfer ownership and media viewing features for community groups
WhatsApp is working on new features to enhance its community group chat functionality. The feature for better Media organization is currently in development and spotted in the WhatsApp beta version 2.24.11.20 for Android.
The new feature will allow users to view all media, such as photos and videos, shared within their community groups. It will improve the organization of shared content and make it easier for users to find specific media items.
For community moderators, this new feature will be mainly useful. It will provide a quick way to overview all shared media to ensure that content aligns with the community’s standards.
Inactive members will also find it beneficial, as it allows them to stay updated by accessing shared media without having to scroll through numerous messages.
In addition to this media feature, WhatsApp is also developing a ‘transfer ownership’ function, which was noted in the previous beta update. This will give community admins the ability to hand over their admin duties to another member.
These features will improve the user experience, especially for those who engage in community group chats. More information about these features will be provided as they become available.

WhatsApp working on ‘AI Profile Photos’ feature for enhanced privacy
WhatsApp is developing a new feature called AI profile photos to enhance profile images. This new feature has been spotted with the WhatsApp latest beta update (version 2.24.11.17) available on the Google Play Store.
With this new feature, WhatsApp users will be able to create unique and personalized profile photos using AI. Instead of sharing real photos, users can describe the kind of image they want. The AI then creates a custom profile photo based on that description.
Through this feature, WhatsApp aims to enhance privacy by allowing users to avoid sharing personal pictures, reducing the risk of misuse or unauthorized sharing.
This is also beneficial when users are unsure which photo to use, they can simply provide details, and the AI will create a personalized image. No need to spend time searching for the perfect picture.
AI Profile Photos feature is currently under development and will be available in a future update. Previously, WhatsApp introduced a feature to create and share AI stickers. Users will soon be able to create AI-generated photos for their profile.
WhatsApp Status function will soon allow tagging contacts
WhatsApp is preparing a new feature that focuses on user privacy and interaction. The upcoming feature allows users to privately mention or tag contacts within their status updates, ensuring that only the mentioned individuals receive notifications.
The private status tagging feature is currently under development and spotted in the latest WhatsApp beta update (v2.24.11.15) available through the Google Play Beta Program.
According to information via WABetaInfo, WhatsApp users will be able to mention specific contacts in their status updates. It also introduces a new notification interface that alerts users when they are mentioned, without revealing these mentions to anyone else viewing the status.
The addition of this feature is expected to improve how users share information via status updates. The privacy aspect is particularly noteworthy as the feature assures users that their mentions are confidential and not displayed publicly within the status screen.
The feature is set to be released in a future update, and further details will be provided as they become available. Previously, this feature was announced with WhatsApp Beta for Android v2.24.9.16.
