Samsung started rolling out a new software update to the Galaxy A70 smartphones. This update comes with the May 2021 security patch that has recently rolled out in select markets such as Ukraine, which will soon be expanded to other markets. You can identify this release via build number A705FNXXU5DEU2.

Apart from the May security patch, the Galaxy A70 update improves the Quick Share performance for better file sharing. At the same time, it brings the One UI 3.1‘s missing feature for this device called 360 Audio. This feature works on the latest Galaxy Buds Pro, which provides multi-dimensional “theater-like” sound.

Back in March 2021, the Galaxy A70 models had received the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update, which brings some amazing features including Eye Comfort Shield, Object Eraser, Private Share, Samsung Free, Google Duo integration with stock dialer app, buds Auto Switching, and ability to remove location data before sharing.

Coming back, the May 2021 security update also fixes Qualcomm’s 5G modems vulnerabilities along with countless fixes from Google and Samsung for a better overall user experience. You can now check for the update manually by heading towards device Settings, select the Software updates, and tap on Download and install.
