Samsung’s X Gyeongbuk creative economy innovation center recruits 16 G-Star Dreamers
Samsung always delivers suitable user satisfaction as per their need, they actively listen to the views of their users and to provide various technical as well as quality support to every user. The company’s first priority for user satisfaction.
Similarly, like every year Samsung will start recruiting ‘G-Star Dreamers‘, a startup discovery and promotion program for the Gyeongbuk Center for Creative Economy and Innovation, are recruiting for by December 18th.
G-star Dreamers is the leading startup support program of the Gyeongbuk Creative Economy Innovation Center, which has been running since 2015.

Anyone can apply for a company or prospective founder within 7 years of founding belonging to various fields such as manufacturing and knowledge service, and the 4th industrial revolution.
The selected companies receive support tailored to startups for the 6-month accelerator process. After an in-depth diagnosis through on-site visits, expert mentoring will be conducted in each field.
Samsung executives and employees are also planning to serve as mentors and deliver a helping hand to solve the difficulties that companies face in commercialization, distribution, and sales channels.
In addition, 20 million won for personnel expenses, the advancement of prototype products, and marketing, etc., required for marketing, are provided in the form of vouchers, and C-Fund has invested up to 500 million won to excellent companies among selected companies.
From 2021, G-star Dreamers’ follow-up support programs for distribution, sales, and business expansion will also be operated.

Another report claims Samsung Unpacked Paris will take place on July 10, 2024. A trusted news outlet highlights that Samsung will most likely launch new Galaxy products on July 10 in Paris. The products include Galaxy Ring alongside the Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6.
According to Korea JoongAng Daily, Samsung Unpacked 2024 takes place on July 10 ahead of the Paris Olympics kicks off. The report says that the Galaxy Ring will be released after all along with new foldables including the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Fold 6.
The report highlights that Samsung’s H2 Unpacked is about two weeks earlier than last year’s. In 2023, the company held an Unpacked event in South Korea’s Seoul on July 26. Well, Samsung hasn’t officially confirmed the event and changes might be made in the release date.
“The location and timing of Unpacked should be beneficial for Samsung, leveraging the festive vibe formed around the Olympics while getting the spotlight all by itself,” a source citing JoongAng Daily.
The report only mentions Galaxy Ring and Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6. However, the Galaxy Watch 7 series, Galaxy Watch FE, and Galaxy Book Edge Pro will likely launch too. Meanwhile, the debut of Ultra and FE-branded Galaxy Z Fold is uncertain due to many reasons.
Earlier, it was reported that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 features a different screen ratio than the Z Fold 5. The company has focussed on improving the usability of the cover screen as well as making the foldable handy. Radical changes aren’t coming, but a gradual upgrade is always welcomed.
Snapdragon exclusivity is another praiseworthy decision by Samsung. There will be no Exynos utilization in the next-generation foldable smartphones. The company may continue to use its in-house mobile platform on future Galaxy S flagships.
Samsung chief Jay Y. Lee (Lee Jae-yong) stated that AI must be used responsibly. During the AI Seoul Summit, Samsung’s boss stated, “It is crucial to responsibly utilize the advantages of AI technology.”
Amid the booming AI growth, Samsung is continuously enhancing products’ security. The company’s executive chairman is also concerned about minimizing the misuse of artificial intelligence technology.
Lee also said that “Globally, there must be discussions on how to minimize the misuse of AI and maximize its benefits during the innovation process.”
As Samsung is a key player internationally, maintaining consumer trust is a must. While the presence of AI stuff is increasing across Galaxy products, security, and privacy must be enhanced to prevent any kind of misuse.
Earlier, the Korean tech giant applied its security solution “Knox” to “Family Care.”. Samsung’s AI home appliances are connected through integrated SmartThings and have enhanced security to counter privacy concerns.

OnePlus is reportedly developing two advanced privacy features. Android 15-based OxygenOS 15 is expected to bring Privacy Watermark, auto-pixelate image features. It would be interesting to see whether Samsung’s One UI 7 introduces such features.
OxygenOS 15 Photos app could bring a new “Privacy Watermark” feature. The feature description indicates that it will put a watermark on your photo, indicating it is an official document application. However, you will also have an option to customize the watermark.
Misuse of documents may not be addressed, but the watermark will enhance privacy with a native indicator. The photos may add a less visible watermark throughout the area, probably identical to what leakers paste on CAD and render images.
OxygenOS 15 would also have an enhanced Pixelate feature. The Auto Pixelate functionality will likely automatically pixelate screenshots right before sharing them with someone. Pixelate would target user details like name, date of birth, passwords, card info, and so on.
Samsung Notes app is equipped with a lot of features focussed on document privacy. The Gallery app also has a watermark feature, but users commonly use it to put device names and capture time. OnePlus-like approach should be followed by Samsung in One UI 7.
