As compared to a typical glass surface, Corning Gorilla Armor reduces reflection by up to 75%, which enhances display readability and minimizes screen reflections in almost any environment.
In Corning lab tests, Gorilla Armor demonstrated superior durability when compared to competitive aluminosilicate cover glasses. On this rigorous test, Gorilla Armos showed no visible scratches and demonstrated over 4x more scratch resistance than competitive aluminosilicate cover glasses.

Dr. Kye Hyun Kyung, head of the Samsung Device Solutions Division, is impressed by DS Assistant and N-ERP AI. The official believes that artificial intelligence will accelerate the speed of corporate innovation.
Samsung internally uses AI-based SW solutions named DS Assistant and N-ERP AI.
Samsung Device Solutions Division’s head emphasized that DS Assistant and N-ERP AI will be the starting point for companies to accelerate the speed of innovation (through AI).
“As an industry leader in the semiconductor technology field, we have been challenged to find new ways to perform work using artificial intelligence (AI), and we have been deeply impressed with ‘DS Assistant’ and N-ERP (Next-Generation Enterprise Resource Planning) AI,” says Kye Hyun Kyung.
DS Assistant automates time-consuming tasks such as market and company analysis, translation, code generation, and document generation using generative AI. N-ERP AI supports AI-based decision-making in addition to business automation using optical character recognition.
Pay attention, the South Korean tech giant is providing next-generation solutions for customers while also continuously experimenting with artificial intelligence technologies internally.

Samsung unveils next-gen display innovations in the US
At SID Display Week 2024, Samsung unveiled next-generation display innovations. For the first time, the company showcased quantum dot (QD) LED technology, glasses-free 3D displays, and fine silicon masks (FSMs) for RGB OLED deposition.
SID Display Week 2024 is being held in San Jose, California, US, from May 14 to 16. This event allows attendees to see Samsung Display’s next-gen quantum dot technology, glasses-free 3D displays, and fine silicon masks for RGB OLED deposition.
Quantum Dot
The 18.2-inch prototype QD-LED device launched at the event has a resolution of 3200󠅐x1800 with a high pixel density of 202 PPI and a brightness of 250 nits, which is comparable to high-resolution premium monitors.
Samsung Display has also unveiled the latest QD-OLED products including the 4K 31.5-inch and 360Hz 27-inch gaming monitors, besides the new 65-inch TV panel with 3,000 nits of peak brightness
Glasses-free 3D
Samsung’s Display subsidiary teased its Light Field Display (LFD). The company revealed that it is a type of glasses-free 3D display that automatically switches between 2D and 3D depending on the user’s gaze.
RGB OLEDoS
The company also launched its RGB OLEDoS (OLED on Silicon) for XR devices with eMagin. Samsung revealed 3,500 PPI fine silicon masks, which is the core of RGB OLEDoS development drawing significant industry attention.

Samsung has released a new update for the Highlights app with version 1.2.11. This update enhances the user experience by improving certain functions and resolving issues.
The update brings refined functions to the app, allowing users to enjoy their video highlights without any lag or delay. It also fixes known issues that affected the app’s performance for a seamless experience.
Samsung Highlights app offers a new way for users to engage with their Galaxy device’s lock screen. Users can quickly view video highlights by swiping right on their lock screen, and tapping allows them to discover more.
With the latest update, the company aims to make this feature more useful and better. The installation package size of this update is around 16.3MB.
You can install the latest Samsung Highlights app update just by opening Galaxy Store, tapping on Menu options, and then Updates. Also, you can download it directly from the third-party app source link mentioned here.
