Which Samsung device will be first to get One UI 7.0 update, Galaxy S25 or S24?

Samsung One UI 7

Samsung officially revealed a sneak peek at the upcoming One UI 7 software. The company confirmed final version will debut with the Galaxy S25 next year, while the Beta is probably coming to the S24 series by the end of this year.

Let’s discuss which Samsung device will be the first to get the One UI 7.0 update.

One UI 7 Beta is coming in 2024 while the Galaxy S25 will launch in 2025. This means the new One UI version will go live before the next Unpacked. However, the software may remain in the Beta phase till January Unpacked.

The Galaxy S24 series may be the first to get One UI 7, but not the final version. The Stable update is officially scheduled alongside the S25 launch. Hence, the next flagship lineup will be the first to come pre-loaded with the One UI 7.0 version.

The Galaxy S24 could be the first to receive the One UI 7.0 OTA and the S25 might launch with it right out of the box. No matter which device gets the update first, One UI 7.0 is set to bring some exciting features.

Well, users don’t care much about first and last. Samsung has heavily delayed this year’s software distribution. Therefore, the first priority should be a faster and more seamless rollout of the Android 15 update whenever it begins.

Pushing the update to the Galaxy S24 series and sequential expansion won’t be welcomed. Samsung must ensure all the compatible Galaxy phones (at least flagship) would receive the update at the same time – the same as Apple and Google.

One UI 7 – Simple, Impactful and Emotive

Samsung’s upcoming software significantly enhances user experience with new features, improved customization, and better performance. Galaxy users also expect smoother animations and enhanced battery management.

The One UI 7 could debut more options for themes, icons, and widgets to customize your Galaxy. New camera modes and easily accessible settings for capturing high-quality photos and videos will also be included.
