WhatsApp Recent Media feature

WhatsApp is tirelessly working to make the platform more adequate and offer users an outstanding experience. Meanwhile, to make the conversation more precise, WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will add a search bar on the chats tab, to let users find particular conversations directly.

This new search bar feature will make the WhatsApp interface more precise and offer an intuitive, adaptive, and cohesive user experience. In addition, the motive behind bringing a search bar may indeed be a part of WhatsApp’s broader strategy to align the app with Material Design 3 principles.

Introducing a revamped search bar that adheres to Material Design 3 guidelines could enhance the overall cohesiveness and consistency of the app interface. It also demonstrates the dedication to keeping its app visually modern, contributing to a more user-friendly experience.

WhatsApp new feature

WhatsApp is testing a new feature with the latest beta update version 2.24.26.9, which will allow users to translate chat messages and channel updates. This feature is currently under development and will be available for beta users soon.

The new translation feature will let users automatically translate all incoming messages or choose to translate specific messages individually. This will help users better understand messages written in different languages to make it easier to communicate with people from around the world.

Notably, the message translations will happen directly on your device, without sending any data to third-party services. This means WhatsApp can maintain its end-to-end encryption to ensure privacy.

The translation feature will also work offline. For that, users can download language packs in advance to allow them to translate messages even when they don’t have an internet connection.

Through this feature, WhatsApp plans to make the translation process quick and simple. But you can’t use WhatsApp fucntions without the internet like sending or receiving messages, watching status, and more. Still, you will soon be able to translate received messages offline.

However, keep in mind that the translations might not always be perfect, as they will be processed offline and may have occasional errors.  Stay tuned for more updates.

WhatsApp voice Messages reply

WhatsApp has pushed a new beta update with version 2.24.26.6 for Android users via the Google Play Beta Program. This update makes it easier to reply to voice messages with just a tap to save time and improve the chat experience.

The new feature adds a quick reply button for voice messages. When you listen to a voice note, you’ll see a button that allows you to immediately record and send your reply.

It means you no longer need to swipe or tap the “reply” option as you did before. With just one tap, you can respond directly to keep the conversation flowing smoothly.

This new quick voice reply feature is similar to a feature WhatsApp introduced earlier for video messages. Users could reply to video messages with a simple tap, without any extra steps.

Now, with this new update, WhatsApp is adding the same feature for voice messages. It makes replying to voice messages quicker and easier than ever.

The quick reply feature is currently available to limited users who are testing the WhatsApp Beta program with the latest version. It is being rolled out gradually, so more people will be able to try it over the next few weeks. If you’re a beta tester, you can update your app through the Google Play Store to access this new feature.
