Samsung One Hand Operation + may introduce pop-up minimization feature in next update

One Hand Operation pop-up minimization feature

Samsung is reviewing user suggestions and exploring the possibility of enhancing its One Hand Operation + with a new feature that allows users to minimize pop-up windows. This update comes in response to user inquiries about more efficient ways to manage pop-ups on their devices.

Currently, the One Hand Operation+ app does not support the minimization of pop-up windows into a bubble icon. Addressing the issue, Samsung community moderator has stated that the addition of the pop-up view minimization feature in One Hand Operation+ is under consideration for a future update.

Moreover, he stated that it is not confirmed whether this feature will come or not at the moment. Aside from this, users can currently use the existing “Home button” feature. When activated, this feature minimizes any open pop-up windows and returns the user to the home screen.

Samsung considers user feedback to improve the functionality of its app. The integration of a pop-up view minimization feature to One Hand Operation + module would be a significant enhancement, providing a more convenient and efficient user experience.

We will review the requested pop-up view minimization feature and,
if possible, add it in the next update. Please understand that we cannot give a definitive answer as to whether or not features will be added.” said Community Moderator.

Samsung plans warlike Unpacked drive for Galaxy Z Flip 6, Fold 6

Samsung Busan World Expo 2030

Samsung is planning an even more aggressive July Unpacked campaign for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Fold 6. Despite having the second quarter without any flagship launch, the company has embarked on the journey towards Unpacked in the second half.

Ahead of the Paris Olympics, this marketing activity is seen as part of the July 2024 Unpacked marketing. Likely, the Unpacked event for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 will be held there. It’s expected that the Unpacked invitations will be sent early next month.

Samsung will operate the “Olympic Experience Hall” at 125 Champs-Elysées, Paris, from May 3rd to October 31st. The company will decorate the experience hall with braking and skateboarding games, historical Olympic edition mobile phones, and a “Galaxy AI” feature experience area.

The experience hall will also be operated at Olympic Parks, athletes’ villages, media centers, etc. Samsung Galaxy Charging Stations will be installed at major venues. It comes right after Samsung recently started a global advertisement for the Paris Olympics.

Samsung’s expected to introduce new foldables including the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Z Fold 6, and probably the Z Fold 6 Ultra at July 2024 Unpacked. Other spotlighting products would be the Watch 7 series (3 models), Galaxy Ring, Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro.

On April 30, the company announced its earnings results for the first quarter of 2024. Sales and profits will likely decline due to market conditions, with the new foldables and wearables giving further push. Meanwhile, the campaigning focused on foldable products seems to be starting early.
