Google Wallet Adds New Features: Photo Passes and Animation Settings

Published

Google Wallet Wear OS PIN

Google Wallet is an app that lets you keep and use different cards on your phone. Now, the app has some options for its users, which allow users to turn off the pay animation and make a pass with a barcode or QR code.

You can now create a pass with a picture of a code. This can help you add things like tickets or coupons that the app does not have. To do this, you need to press the “Add to Wallet” button and pick the “Photo” option. Then you can take a picture of the code or choose one from your photos. The app will make a pass that you can use where you need it.

In addition, you can turn off the animation that shows up after you pay or use a pass. The animation changes with the seasons and is above your card. But some people may not like them or want them. By disabling this option, the app will show only a tick and the “G Pay” logo after you do something.

The app also looks different now, with smaller and simpler cards. You can see more cards at once and less details on them. This new look is only on the Pixel 8, 8 Pro, and Fold phones.
