Samsung Quick Shot: How to capture selfie using main camera on Galaxy Z Flip
Samsung has designed the Galaxy Z Flip devices keeping in mind the modern and demanding audience so that users can get a different and unique experience. Not only this, but the company has also brought revamped Quick Shot function with a host of amazing new features with the latest Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 5G smartphone.
The Quick Shot function lets you take high-resolution selfies using the Galaxy Z Flip’s main cameras directly from the cover screen. Through this feature, you can take pictures without opening your Flip phone. You can check the steps to take selfie pictures using rear camera.
How to capture a selfie using Galaxy Z Flip rear camera?
To take a high-resolution selfie image, simply double-tap the on/off button on the right side of your smartphone to view your image on the cover screen. After the function is turned on, the image is transmitted to the external screen, and additional camera functions can be selected by sliding the screen left and right.
In the Photo Mode of the camera of your Samsung Galaxy Z Flip smartphone, the Quick Shot feature is automatically activated but when you swipe the screen to the right, Portrait mode is activated, highlighting the person or object in the center and blurring the background. To go back to photo mode, just swipe left. You can swipe left again to activate video mode.
Apart from photos, you can use the rear camera even when the Galaxy Z Flip is turned off. Swipe up or down the screen to capture or increase the capture area. In this sense, the sensor extends or retracts the camera’s zoom by 1.0x or 0.5x. To see which field of view format is currently selected, just look in the top right corner.

Once the desired settings are in place, it is time to capture the image. You have two options for shooting that are – Press the side volume keys up or down, or Point your palm at the camera.
After recognizing your palm or pressing the volume button, the device will take a picture within two seconds. Now, you can open your Galaxy Z Flip smartphone to see the result.

Once you enable the function, you can capture the video with automatic zoom changes that keep the person in the frame. With the latest enhancements, the feature supports the Auto framing of an area other than the person selected by the user. Notably, the advanced Auto Framing feature is available for limited Galaxy devices.

How to restore Contacts on your Samsung smartphone?
Condition 1: If your Galaxy Contacts are deleted because of your Google Account, they are stored on Google servers for 30 days. There are 2 methods of restoring deleted contact:
- Restoring with Undo Changes
- Restore Contacts from Trash
Let’s see how to restore contacts from both procedures.
1.) Restore with Undo Changes
Through some easy steps you can restore deleted contacts, just need to follow them. Firstly, open the Google app >> now select Apps located at top right corner >> click on Settings >> press on Undo changes >> choose when to undo changes >> click on Undo.
2.) Restore Contacts from Trash
For that, open the Contacts app >> Tap on the Menu option >> click on Trash >>Select one contact to restore >> Select Restore All option >> Click on the Recover option.
Condition 2: If you enable the setting Automatically back up and sync device contacts in the Google app, contacts in your device’s contact storage will be automatically moved to your Google Account contacts.
1.) Change the Contact Display Range
Open the Samsung Contacts app >> Click on the Menu option >> Tap on the Phone >> Select All contacts/ Google Account.
2.) Disable the backup and syn settings of the Google app
For disabling, visit Settings >> Scroll down and tap on Google >> Tap on Set up and restore >> Click on Restore Contacts >> Google Contacts sync settings >> Device contacts Sync >> Disable Automatically Backup & Sync Device Contacts.
Samsung offers a Super Steady feature to the camera app for Galaxy devices. This feature compensates for camera shake more powerfully than VDIS offered by Samsung smartphones. However, this mode uses a large amount of correction margin to keep the camera shake extremely high. So in a still situation or in a low-light environment, the exposure time becomes longer to capture the light, and motion blur caused by camera movement is reduced.
