Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 Processor
Manufactured on a 4 nm process, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor is structured with a 1+4+3 core configuration including a Prime ARM Cortex X4 core running at 3.0 GHz. This design varies slightly from the 8 Gen 3, which has a 1+5+2 configuration, which opts for an additional Performance core over an Efficiency core.
The Snapdragon 8s Gen comes with support for on-device generative AI, capable of running large language and vision models. Although it may not match the speed of the 8 Gen 3, it still offers significant AI capabilities with its Gemini Nano support.
This chipset also features an always-on ISP capable of real-time semantic segmentation, recognizing up to 12 layers in visual content. For gamers, the chipset provides real-time hardware-accelerated ray tracing. In addition, connectivity is enhanced with X70 modem support, and the audio experience is elevated with LE Audio and Auracast capabilities.
