To install the latest update, open system Settings, now scroll down the tap the Software update tab. From here, you have to hit the Download and install button so your smartphone can connect to Samsung’s software server and detect a new build online. May 2024 update for Galaxy S23 series, Z Flip 5 live in India
Samsung is expanding the May 2024 security update for Galaxy S23 series and Galaxy Z Flip 5 smartphones in India. The update comes with fixes for several vulnerabilities and improves the stability for better performance.
Users of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series and Galaxy Z Flip 5 smartphones are receiving a May 2024 update in India with One UI builds mentioned below.
- Galaxy S23 – S911BXXS5CXDE
- Galaxy S23 Plus – S916BXXS5CXDE
- Galaxy S23 Ultra – S918BXXS5CXDE
- Galaxy Z Flip 5 – F731BXXS2CXE2
According to the official details, the May 2024 patch fixes 45 vulnerabilities, out of which Google has addressed 33. It includes 3 vulnerabilities as Critical and 26 as High-level. The patch also has 25 Samsung-specific enhancements.
It is just an incremental update, so it does not bring new features or changes except security maintenance. The update is rolling out gradually so it may take some time to reach all models.
