Samsung Galaxy S22, Fold 4 and Flip 4 grabs March 2023 security update in India
Samsung has started to roll out the March 2023 Android security patch update for a bunch of flagship smartphones, including Galaxy S22, S22+, S22 Ultra, Z Fold 4, and Z Flip 4 in India.
This update has arrived with minor improvements for system security and stability to maintain the users’ experience. March 2023 patch makes sure that you don’t meet and shutter, lag, crash, freeze, or have other problems while driving the phone.

In addition to these minor optimizations, Samsung further resolves over 60 issues and exposures that were harming the system’s security and users’ privacy. More specifically, it fixes 5 critical and 35 high levels of Google CVEs and 23 Galaxy-specific issues and vulnerabilities.
For Galaxy devices, the Korena tech fixed the issues with Settings, SystemUI, Bluetooth, Galaxy Themes Service, Exynos baseband, Samsung Keyboard, Call application, and other One UI apps and services.
Battery drain issue:
There are multiple reports on the community and Reddit that March 2023 update has fixed the battery drain issue for Galaxy S22 phone users. Consumers are reporting that they are experiencing the best battery life and performance since they purchase the phone.
I hope that Samsung has also resolved the battery-related issues for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 devices as well. The corresponding device owners are encountering battery drain issues after installing the One UI 5.1 update.

Samsung Galaxy S24, S24 Plus and S24 Ultra get December 2024 security update
Samsung has started rolling out the December 2024 security update for Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra users. While the company recently released the One UI 7 Beta update for Galaxy S24 users, those not participating in the beta are receiving this stable security patch.
Stable December 2024 security update is currently available for the Galaxy S24 series in Korea and the company will soon expand it to more countries. Users can check the latest firmware below.

December 2024 security patch addresses more than 45 security vulnerabilities. Google patches in this update cover six critical vulnerabilities and 28 high-level ones. There is also 1 issue that was previously fixed in earlier updates and another that is not applicable to Samsung devices.
Moreover, Samsung has addressed 2 high-level vulnerabilities in its semiconductor products. Along with these fixes, Samsung has also provided 8 patches under its Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) items related to the Theme Center, Galaxy Watch Bluetooth, SmartSwitch, and Dex Mode.

December 2024 is going on and Samsung is releasing the second November 2024 update for the Galaxy S23 series models in the US. The update is rolling out for unlocked models and could be available to locked models in the coming days or weeks.

Samsung has begun releasing the December 2024 security update for Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 smartphones. The update is currently rolling out in the update in Korea and the company will soon make it available in more countries.
