Launched back in October 2022, the Pixel 7 Pro is the most premium smartphone offered by Google. This lineup has solved most of the issues that emerged on the Pixel 6 series, but, users are still having some odd problems such as some Pixel 7 Pro units leaving volume buttons out of the body.

Android Central’s Nick Sutrich first highlighted the Pixel 7 Pro’s volume buttons fall-out problem, when he was comparing it with the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Nick doesn’t use the Google Pixel 7 Pro as his daily driver, and he said that the fall out of volume buttons is unexpected as there’s no outsourced harm.
“After a brisk walk in the woods to take pictures for the upcoming Galaxy S23 Ultra review, I took the phone out of my pocket and noticed something strange was on the screen. After taking a closer look, I thought it looked at least a little bit like the volume rocker from the Google Pixel 7 Pro. Sure enough, I took the Pixel 7 Pro out of my other pocket, and voilà — the volume rocker was completely missing from the phone.”
Apart from this, some Pixel 7 Pro users complain about the same problem on Reddit threads and Google’s support forum. Similar to AC’s reviewer, more Pixel users reported that the volume buttons fall out, leaving their phone out of warranty as it’s a sign of external damage
Notably, the company’s official support has not acknowledged the problem, however, some users claimed that Google representatives say the issue falls out of warranty, even though there are no clear signs of damage present. Are you also having the same problem? We found the misplaced button.
eBay is selling volume buttons replacement:
America-based e-commerce company eBay is selling the Google Pixel 7 Pro volume buttons replacement kit in the US. In case you have lost the volume buttons of your device, you can buy the kit from eBay, which costs about $10, whereas self-repair guides may help you with installation.

Next Samsung Wonderland update to fix lock screen animations in One UI 6.1.1
Users of the Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 have reported issues with the Wonderland lock screen feature following the One UI 6.1.1 update. Many have encountered that their Wonderland backgrounds disappeared.
After installing the One UI 6.1.1, when users tried to apply the Wonderland background back, they received pop-ups mentioning the animations were no longer available.
Recently, a Galaxy user shared their experience on the community, noting that their chosen Wonderland background disappeared after the latest Galaxy AI update. When they tried to reapply it, they got an alert message stating that the animation had been removed.

Samsung confirms update to fix Galaxy A15/A24 video playback issues
Some Samsung Galaxy A smartphone users face frustrating issues related to video playback. Users of Galaxy A15 and Galaxy A24 reported that when they try to play videos in the Gallery app, they encounter a black screen with sound but no visuals.
In addition to this, some messages frequently pop up on the screen, showing “An unknown error has occurred” or stating that the video codec is not supported. This issue is not limited to Video playback but extends to Video calls.
Users of Galaxy smartphones are not able to see the other person’s video feed. Even third-party applications are affected, with videos failing to play properly.
The Samsung community moderator has mentioned that it has been found that these video playback issues are linked to a codec error in the Samsung phone. Some videos cause these errors, while others may play normally after a restart. However, the affected videos will continue to cause issues.
Samsung is aware of the video playback issues and is working on a software update to resolve them. However, the community moderator has not confirmed any timeline yet but it is expected to be available soon.
Users are advised to keep an eye out for software update notifications and promptly install any available updates to improve their device’s functionality.
To update your Galaxy device, you just need to follow a few steps. Firstly, open Settings >> Software Update >> Download and install. Stay tuned for the software update to restore full video functionality on your Galaxy A15 or A24.
