Samsung Galaxy M30 getting March 2022 security update

While it’s April and Samsung has already started delivering this month’s security patches to its eligible devices, there are still some devices that haven’t received the March 2022 security patch.
In a recent development, Samsung started rolling out the March 2022 Android security patch update to the Galaxy M30 smartphone users. The update comes with improved system security and stability alongside the device’s performance enhancements.

At the same time, it fixes a total of 62 vulnerabilities, exploits, and threats to provide you with seamless performance. However, the official support page mentions that it fixes 2 critical, 29 high, and 19 moderate levels of CVEs from Google and Samsung.
Further, Samsung released the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update for Galaxy M30 device owners sometimes in April last year. The update was the last major OS for the device, which means it will not receive any Android 12 update officially.
At the moment, you can identify the March 2022 security patch for your Galaxy M30 through the One UI build version M305FDDS8CVB2. It is currently released in India and is expected to reach more users in the coming days or weeks.
If you haven’t yet received the update notification in India, you can check and download it manually by visiting your phone’s Settings. From here enter Software update and tap Download and install >> Download now (if available).
The installation procedure may take some time to complete the package unpacking. So, keep patience and let the phone install this software update. Once, installed the phone will reboot and start initial apps optimizations.

Samsung One UI March 2023 Updates List

T-Mobile releases March 2023 update for Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G

T-Mobile has started pushing the March 2023 security update for Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G users in the US. The latest security update mainly focuses on improving the security and privacy of your device.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G smartphone users on the T-Mobile network are grabbing March 2023 update with One UI build version G781USQS9HWB6. The latest update is based on One UI 5.1 so your device must be updated to this major version then only your mobile will get a notification of this latest monthly patch.

March 2023 security patch details
According to the official details, March 2023 security patch fixes different kinds of bugs and issues patched by Google and Samsung, listed in the Android and One UI security bulletin. A bunch of vulnerability exposures listed in the document that falls into different ranges including:

- Already fixed – 4
- Not applicable – 5
