Back in 2019, Samsung launched its new budget smartphone called Galaxy M30s. The device came pre-installed with Android 9-based One UI 1.x out of the box and later on received the One UI 2.0 update on top of Android 10. Going further, the company had also released the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update for the smartphone.

As the Galaxy M30s is a budget smartphone and belongs to the Galaxy M series, the company concluded its major software update lifecycle. Meanwhile, the device is still eligible for new security patch updates as well as new features until 2023, thanks to new Samsung update policy.
