Just a few days back, Samsung users came to know about the major breaking of thousands of Android apps performance slowing down on Galaxy smartphones, including the latest Galaxy S22 series, artificially. Meanwhile, the company is working hard to fix the problems by giving frequent updates.

But in the meantime, it is reported that the latest Galaxy Tab S8 tablets are also affected by throttling games. This can lead to a very negative replication of Samsung’s services and performance to consumers.

As the new normal Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy Tab S8 lineup are packed with the most amazing features and specs, this throttling on devices has led to consumer downfall and confidence. But here it is also true that the company is constantly working hard to overcome the problems and inconveniences of the users.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 throttling games issue:

According to a recent report, Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and S8 Plus artificially slow down performance when running a version of the Geekbench app with the name Genshine Impact package. Which affects the results of the context. The performance of monochrome processors decreased by 18-24% and the performance of multiple cores decreased by 6-11%.

Meanwhile, a previous report claimed that Samsung was reducing the performance of over 10,000 apps, but that doesn’t seem to be true. Samsung’s statement confirmed that there were only a handful of apps in charge of the issue.

However, Samsung is yet to say anything about the Galaxy Tab S8 throttling games issue. Similarly, Galaxy Tab S8 has not been added to the Greek bench list, but the company is planning to delist the device.

Samsung 9th Gen V-NAND

The industry’s first 9th Gen V-NAND entered the mass production stage, Samsung announced. Samsung improved the bit density of the 9th-generation V-NAND by about 50% compared to the previous generation.

Samsung highlights productivity for the 9th Gen V-NAND groundbreaking double-stack structure enhanced through advanced “channel hole etching” technology, helping the company solidify its leadership in the NAND flash market.

In particular, the South Korean tech giant has commenced mass production for the 1Tb TLC 9th-generation V-NAND this month, followed by the quad-level cell (QLC) model in the second half of this year.

The advanced “channel hole etching” technology showcases Samsung’s leadership in process capabilities.

Channel hole etching tech creates electron pathways by stacking mold layers and maximizes fabrication productivity as it enables simultaneous drilling of the industry’s highest cell layer count in a double-stack structure.

As the number of cell layers increases, the ability to pierce through higher cell numbers becomes essential, demanding more sophisticated etching techniques.
