Samsung TM Roh hints at greener, more inclusive Galaxy ecosystem at MWC 2022
One week before the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2022, to be held in Barcelona, Spain, Samsung Mobile Chief Roh Tae-moon said that the use of recycled and environmentally conscious materials will play a key role in his mobile.
Roh also leads the Samsung Mobile Experience oversees business related to smartphones, tablets, personal computers, and wearable activities – trying to be more green and inclusive in the Samsung Galaxy Ecosystem.
According to Roh, the latest efforts by the South Korean tech giant to rebuild fishing nets and incorporate consumer goods into its hardware product include its flagship Galaxy S22 smartphone lineup, which aims to bring technology “for good” to increase as “power”.
Samsung MWC 2022 teases its upcoming release of new Galaxy Book!
A week ago, Samsung signaled a strong push for a more comprehensive galaxy ecosystem by mocking the upcoming release of the new Galaxy Book.
The new device is likely to succeed the company’s flagship lightweight laptops primarily for office users, the Galaxy Book Pro and Book Pro 360, which Samsung unveiled first in April 2021 unpacked. They will be supported by Microsoft apps such as Intel chips and Link To Windows which allows users to access mobile applications, notifications, and photos from their personal computers.
According to Kim Hark-Song, corporate executive vice president and new computing R&D team leader at Samsung Electronics, the new Galaxy Book devices enhance users’ multi-device experience across the Galaxy ecosystem with improved performance and security. However, the details about the device specs are kept confidential.
The newest Galaxy Book will premiere online on February 27 at 7 pm. Spain time the day before the start of MWC 2022. Earlier, Samsung’s latest mobile devices such as the Galaxy S22 lineup and the low-end S21 FE will also be on display at the MWC 2022.

Samsung rolled out the One UI 6.1 update for several devices, and now the Galaxy F34 is next in line to get this major upgrade. The update has started rolling out to users in India and will soon be available for all F34 models shortly.
One UI 6.1 update for Samsung Galaxy F34 smartphone arrives with PDA version E346BXXU4CXE1 in India. Users will have to download around 2GB package to install the update.
Based on Android 14, the major One UI update brings new features for photo and video management, including an AI that suggests edits, and the ability to copy elements from one image to another.
Moreover, it introduces new lock screen widgets and customizable alarm alerts with multimedia options. The Calendar app now supports adding stickers to dates. This update also enhances data security with improved Samsung Cloud services and introduces Passkey for quicker sign-ins.
Furthermore, some enhancements have been made to the Finder, battery settings, weather widget, Health app, and more. Notably, the update installs a May 2024 security patch to improve system security and stability.
To check for software updates manually, head toward your phone’s Settings. At the bottom, you will get the Software Update section, simply open it. Inside the menu, you need to hit the Download and Install button if your Galaxy fetches a new OTA.

Samsung Galaxy F15 users are getting a second software update, which includes a May 2024 security patch. This update improves system security and stability for a better user experience.
