Samsung, SK Telecom complete first 5G/4G SA trial on 5G commercial network
On February 25, Samsung and SK Telecom (SKT) announced that they successfully completed the industry’s first 5G-4G SA Option 4 (NE-DC, New Radio-e-Utron Dual Connectivity) trial on SKT’s 5G Standalone (5G SA) commercial network to enhance their existing network resources.
Both companies have certified 5G Option 4 technology at the SKT R&D Center to achieve data speeds similar to the NSA using 175 MHz bandwidth and have also completed verification of SA’s special functions. For this field test, SKT used Samsung’s 5G SA Core, 5G Radio and 4G Radios, which are already implemented in SKT’s 5G Commercial Network.

This latest milestone is the result of Samsung and SKT’s continued commitment to developing cutting-edge network technologies that power innovative 5G usage cases. In March 2021, SKT began offering 5G SA commercial services to private networks that use Samsung’s advanced 5G end-to-end solutions.
In a collaborative effort, the companies will continue to provide advanced network services to mobile users in Korea. Samsung has begun releasing a huge size update for Galaxy A52s smartphone, which installs the latest Android security patch release in September 2023 to make your device more secure and stable.
September 2023 security update for Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G smartphone comes with One UI build version A528BXXU5EWH9 and a big size installtion package of around 1.5GB. The changelog of the update does not contain any new feature or change except for security maintenance and stability optimization.
According to official details, the September 2023 security patch fixes over 60 flaws found in smartphones and tablets in the previous version. In addition, it updates several stock apps to the newest version such as Samsung Notes, Members, Wallet, and Calculator.
The update is currently rolling out for Galaxy A52s smartphone in Brazil and the company will soon expand it to more countries. You can install the update through Settings >> Software Update >> Download and install.
