Verizon updates Samsung Galaxy S21 with January 2022 Android security patches
Samsung released the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 software update for the Galaxy S21 series devices back in November 2021. Later on, the S21 trio received the January 2022 patch, which adds further security enhancements to the system.
Now, the latest security update has reached the United States as Verizon bounded Samsung Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra devices receiving the new OTA which installs the January 2022 Android security patches. FYI, T-Mobile and Sprint already rolled out the latest security update.

Earlier this month, Samsung revealed that the January 2022 update for Galaxy devices brings fixes for different categories of issues and exploits including 2 critical, 36 high, and 5 moderate for better device stability. At the same time, 9 CVEs are not applicable on Samsung devices.

Samsung is rolling out an Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 update for Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphones on the Verizon network carrier in the US. The update is currently available for locked models and the company will soon make it available for unlocked variants.
One UI 6.1.1 update arrives with several new features and enhancements to provide a next-level experience. It enhances Circle to Search, Samsung Notes, Interpreter, Live Translate, Chat Assist, and Gallery. Also, it adds new features including Portrait Studio, Live Effect, and Sketch to Image.
