Samsung Galaxy A31 smartphone users are receiving February 2023 security update in India. The new update enhances system security and stability by fixing vulnerabilities to provide better performance.
The latest update for Galaxy A31 arrives with version A315FXXU2DWB3 and a big installation package size of 845.75 MB. Y You may notice some changes after you install this update because the package size of this update is larger as compared to regular monthly updates.

Samsung’s February 2023 Android security patch brings fixes for a total of 55 vulnerabilities and exposures that were harming user privacy and security. More specifically, the update addresses 5 CVEs leveled Critical, and 43 CVEs leveled High.

Samsung’s January 2023 update fixes 52 CVE items from Google’s Android OS that were causing data leaks and other problems. Meanwhile, the update also resolves 20 SVEs that were harming various One UI apps and services.

Samsung Galaxy A31 smartphone users are getting a new update with the July 2022 security patch in Brazil. Users can identify the latest version via the One UI build version A315GDXU1DVH1.
The latest update installs the Android patch released in July 2022 to enhance system security and stability. As per the patch detail, this update fixes dozens of privacy and security-related issues and exploits. These vulnerabilities include 3 Critical and 20 High levels of CVE and SVE items from Google and Samsung.

Samsung is sending the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update for Galaxy A31 smartphone users in India. The update makes your phone more intuitive, more fun, more secure, and easier to use.
It brings a Grammarly-powered keyboard, improved Notes app, color palette, customizable RAM Plus, new camera features, editing tools, and many more. You can identify it via One UI build version A315FXXU1DVD8.

November 2021 security patch
Samsung started distributing the November 2021 security patch to the Galaxy A31 smartphones in several Asian countries including Caucasus countries, Russia, Ukraine, or Uzbekistan. November security patch comes with fixes for several CVEs and SVEs from Google and Samsung.

Samsung has released an enhanced 4G band support update for its older smartphone models, the Galaxy S7 from 2016 and the Galaxy A5 from 2017. This update is essential for maintaining access to network services, including emergency calls.

Samsung Good Lock is a widely used customization app, but users have been facing a functional issue with its start screen behavior. Users have noticed that the app, which used to open on the last tab they viewed, now opens by default on the ‘Terrace’ tab every time it is visited.
This change from the expected behavior was reported by a user who pointed out that the app should remain on the last tab where it was turned off. Instead, the app now consistently starts from the ‘Terrace’ tab, causing minor inconvenience to those who rely on its original functionality.
However, the Samsung community moderator has acknowledged the issue and announced that a solution is underway. The fix will be included in the next update, ensuring that the app will function as intended.
Users of Samsung Good Lock can look forward to the upcoming update, which promises to restore the app’s smart tab selection feature and enhance overall usability.
“Thank you for bringing this to our attention! As you said, normal operation is for the last page viewed to be selected first. We will correct this part and have it reflected in the next version release,” said the community moderator.
