Samsung releases March 2023 update for Galaxy S22 Snapdragon models

Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor models of Samsung Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra have started receiving the fresh March 2023 Android security patch update with new improvements and bug fixes.
More specifically, Samsung is releasing the update in Asia, Latin America, North America, China, and the United States. But since it’s a staged rollout, it may take some time to reach all devices.

What’s new:
Samsung has not brought multiple changes with the latest March 2023 update for Galaxy S22 phones. It improves the system’s security and stability to deliver a seamless performance in order to maintain the users’ experience.
Aside from these, the company also addresses over five dozen privacy and security-related issues and vulnerabilities. These include 40 CVEs – 5 of Critical reveal and 35 or High level that come from Google’s Android security bulletin.
It further resolves 23-Galaxy Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures that were affecting various One UI apps and services and harming users’ privacy.
Galaxy S22 Battery also improved –
Samsung Galaxy S22 customers have been noticing battery drain and heating issues on their phones for a long. They hoped, One UI 5.1 will have some enhancements, but the battery drain remained unfixed.
However, the March 2023 update has improved the battery life of the devices. Users say that they are having great battery life, which is at its best since the launch.

Samsung Game Booster app gets June 2023 update

Samsung has pushed a new update for the Game Booster app in June 2023. The fresh update of Game Booster arrives with version 5.0.05.0 on Galaxy Store to enhance the gaming experience of One UI devices.

June 2023 update of the Samsung Game Booster app comes with common functional improvements to enhance the Galaxy experience. However, it does not include any new features or changes but it surely provides better performance after installation of the latest update.
The installation package size of the latest Game Booster latest release is 8.37 MB. It is available for Galaxy devices running from Android 13-based One UI 5.1/One UI 5.0 or lower version up to Android 9 Pie, you can get it via Galaxy Store.

Samsung expands Galaxy S21 May 2023 update in India

Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra users are finally getting May 2023 security update in India. The series already got this update in several countries including Europe, Korea, the US, and more.
The latest update enhances system security and stability by installing the May 2023 Android security patch. In addition, it improves performance and fixes bugs to provide a seamless and uninterrupted user experience without any lagging or freezing errors.
Users of Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphones in India can identify the May 2023 update via One UI build versions G991BXXS7EWD3, G991BXXS7EWD3, and G991BXXS7EWD3 respectively.
The installation package size of this update is 266.03 MB, you can install it through Settings >> Software Updates >> Menu option. It is just an incremental update so it does not include any features or changes except the security maintenance patch.

Samsung’s May 2023 security patch fixes more than 70 issues including 5 Critical, 46 High, and 1 Moderate level of common vulnerability exposures. How to update?
If you haven’t already received the OTA update notification, expect to get it in the next day or so. The rollout happens rapidly so it shouldn’t be long before you’re able to get the update. You can manually check the update via your device’s Settings, Download and install option under Software Updates.
