Google begins testing ‘Search bubble’ chat heads for quick searches
Currently, Google is developing a more useful “Search Bubble” chat header that can be placed on the home screen for quick searches. It seems that shortcuts can be displayed even in some applications (including browsers). Of course, the user can choose to hide it temporarily or delete it completely.
As per the screenshot shared via- 9to5Google, the new Google search shortcut appears in the code of Google Home beta v12.44, showing a floating shortcut similar to chat heads. The user can freely move it to any corner of the screen.
However, users cannot place this floating search shortcut on the widget grid. This may avoid interfering with home screen widgets. The floating shortcut contains two buttons for standard text search and voice search.
When the new feature goes live, users may receive a notification asking if they want to use it on the home screen. The user can drag and drop the button to the bottom of the screen to turn it off completely or hide it for a period of time.
As of now, this is just a leak, we can’t say anything about when it will reach the devices. But it is likely to be launched soon as it seems to be in the final stages of development.
In the past few months, Google search has undergone a large number of updates, with some notable changes. Last month, the company introduced continuous scrolling for search on mobile devices. This effectively replaces the “See more” button that appears at the bottom of the page, providing constant results.

We are in mid-May 2024 and Samsung has released an update for its Device Security app. Identified via version 7.4.01, the update is now available for Galaxy users to download from the Galaxy Store with a package size of 3.78MB.
The update addresses issues found in the previous version and enhances the app’s functions for a better experience. However, no new features or changes noted.
Samsung Device Security app provides essential protection against malware and includes features that help optimize device performance. Users can manage their security settings and app permissions with this function as it provides them greater control over their device’s security.

WhatsApp has rolled out a new update for its beta version 2.24.10.22, which includes a redesigned drawing editor. This update is currently available to a limited number of beta testers through the Google Play Beta Program.
The update brings a significant change to the drawing editor by moving the brush and color tools to the bottom of the screen. This change is particularly beneficial for users with larger screens, as it makes the tools easier to access and use with one hand.
Additionally, WhatsApp has improved the color selection feature by introducing a palette of 24 default colors. This simplifies the process of choosing colors for users.
