According to the info, T-Mobile pushed a new firmware update with version numbers: G991USQS4AUFD, G996USQS4AUFD and G998USQS4AUFD for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra respectively, moreover, it weighs less than 300MB.

Other than the up-to-date security patch, the changelog of this update doesn’t mention any new feature or system improvement. However, it should enhance the performance of stock apps and system functions for a better overall user experience.

Along with fixes from T-Mobile, the July 2021 security patch carries fixes for 3 critical and 38 high levels of CVEs from Google and 8 SVEs from Samsung for Galaxy devices. However, it’s an initial rollout, your device will alert you for a new software update in the coming hours.

International Galaxy S21s are still waiting!

Starting June 30, Samsung pushed the July 2021 update to most of its flagship phones such as Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy S10, Galaxy Fold, and Galaxy Z Flip. At the same time, select mid-range and budget phones have also received the same treatment.

It’s worth mentioning that the Exynos 2100-powered Galaxy S21 series smartphone users are still waiting for the July security patch globally. The reason behind this slow s/w update rollout is unknown, meanwhile, it seems an indication of a big s/w update arrival in the near future.
