Samsung Galaxy A22 support page goes live, launch just around the corner

Samsung is preparing to launch new budget smartphones under its Galaxy A and M lineup. Recently, an ultra-affordable phone called Galaxy A03s came to light along with a set of renders and specifications. While the company also has a cheaper 5G smartphone i.e. the Galaxy A22.

It looks like that the South Korean tech giant is all set to unveil the Galaxy A22 4G smartphone very soon as it recently appeared on the company’s official Russian website. However, the support page doesn’t reveal any design or specifications of this device except for the model number i.e. SM-A225F.

Recently, the Galaxy A22 5G has been spotted on a European retailer’s website that revealed its pricing that was €185 without VAT, while it could be priced around €199 for the 64GB memory variant. Meanwhile, the pricing detail about the 4G variant still remains a mystery.

As per the previous reports, Samsung Galaxy A22 will feature a quad rear camera setup, which consists of a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor, plus a 13MP front camera for selfies. At the same time, the 4G model could come with triple rear cameras.

Aside from this, the Galaxy A22 5G could be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip and come packed with a 5,000mAh battery and 15W fast charging. Lastly, Samsung has not yet officially disclosed this device, but it’s expected to be launched in H2 2021.

Google confirms Galaxy S23 FE coming in two SoC variants

Google Play Console database confirmed that Samsung’s Galaxy S23 FE will be available in two SoC variants. The company is about to introduce a handful of new Fan Edition products including a smartphone, two tablets, and a pair of wireless earbuds.

In a recent development, Samsung’s Galaxy S23 FE surfaced on the Google Play Console database, which not only confirmed that two SoC variants are coming but an image of the phone also got shared. The device will have Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chips, based on market/region.

In addition, the S23 Fan Edition will bring 8GB of RAM, well, at least one of its variants will. It’s easily possible this will be the only RAM variant, though. Android 13 is also confirmed, while One UI 5.1 will be included on top of it as well as eligibility of 4 OS plus 5 years of security updates.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 on Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus gains sequential improvement

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S24 Plus featuring the unreleased Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy processor visited Geekbench. Following its first appearance on the benchmark platform in late July, the Galaxy S24 Plus scored slightly better points in the fresh test.

According to the input, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy, powering the Galaxy S24 Plus, scored 2240 points and 6743 points in Geekbench 6’s single-core and multi-core tests. For reference, the device reached up to 2242/6730 and 2233/6661 as of July 2023.

The South Korean tech giant will also introduce the Exynos 2400-powered Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus. These variants will be available in certain markets including Europe, with the Galaxy S24 Ultra only equipped with the Snapdragon chipset.
