Samsung Galaxy S10 getting security improvements with new software update [T-Mobile]
Yesterday, T-Mobile pushed the Android 11 firmware update to Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series in the US, while the carrier has already suspended this major version upgrade for the Galaxy S20 models due to unknown reasons.
Meanwhile, T-Mobile is also rolling out regular security updates to its branded Samsung Galaxy devices in the US. Moving on, Samsung Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+ have started getting a new software update with system security improvements.
It installs the December 2020 security patch as well as fixes some bugs and issues for a better user experience. Furthermore, this update also brings enhancements to the system features to increase their performance.

Furthermore, Samsung is also preparing to start Android 11 based One UI 3.0 software rollout to its older flagship phones like Galaxy S10 and Note 10. The company is also running beta testing of this version that is limited to unlocked variants. As per the One UI 3.0 update plan, the above-mentioned devices will start getting this update from January 2021.

Samsung has pushed a new update for the Galaxy A15 smartphone, which brings a September 2024 security patch. The update improves system security and stability to enhance the overall performance.
September 2024 security update for Galaxy A15 is currently rolling out in Asian countries and the company will soon make it available in more countries. Users can verify the latest update through One UI build version A155FXXS4BXI3.
The fresh update is expected to resolve video playback issues experienced in previous software. Galaxy A15 users have reported encountering a black screen with sound but no visuals. Additionally, error messages frequently appear, indicating “An unknown error has occurred” or that the video codec is not supported.
Notably, the September 2024 security patch addresses 1 critical issue and 43 high-level ones for Google. One of these issues was already fixed in earlier updates, and another one doesn’t impact Galaxy devices. Also, Samsung is adding 23 of its fixes to improve security in My Files, Theme Center, One UI Home, Knox, and Dex.
