Verizon sending October 2020 security patch for Galaxy A50

If you don’t know, but the unlocked variant of the Galaxy A50 is the first device that got the October 2020 security patch on the first date of this month. After three weeks of that, Verizon has completed its additional testing and rolling out October 2020 security patch update to carrier-locked Galaxy A50 phones in the U.S.

According to the information, Galaxy A50 getting the latest security patch update with a software version of A505USQS9BTI4. The official changelog doesn’t mention anything except for the latest security patch, so it is clear that the update doesn’t bring any new features.

The current software update provides the most up to date Android security patches on your device.

If you also have a Galaxy A50 smartphone and it is locked on Verizon carrier, check for the update notification, is the notification not arrived yet then check for the update manually by following the steps given below.

  • Tap Settings
  • Software update
  • Download and install.
  • Wait for the device to check for updates.
  • Tap OK > Start.

The Korean tech giant has released an April 2024 security update for the Samsung Galaxy A52 4G smartphone in Brazil with One UI build version A525MUBS6EXD2. It weighs 270.68MB package.

The fresh update includes the April patch which fixes a bundle of issues of different levels. It also provides improved protection against malicious threats, viruses, and other safety-related assaults to offer a hassle-free performance.

Users can easily check and install the update by visiting Settings >> Software Update >> Download and Install. The update is released through the OTA method, so it may take some time to cover all the eligible units in the country.

Samsung has pushed the April 2024 security update for unlocked models of Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra in the US. This update is already out in Brazil and the company will soon make it available in more countries.

April 2024 security update for unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra models in the US can verify the update through One UI build version N98xU1UES6HXD1. Locked models of the Note 20 series could soon get the update in the coming days or weeks.

Users will have to download around a 280MB software package to install the update. Users can easily check and install the update through Settings >> Software Update >> Download and install.
