Samsung officially revealed the Galaxy S24’s arrival on January 17, 2024. Following the announcement, Samsung shared an ultimate Galaxy S24 Ultra camera zoom feature, powered by Galaxy AI.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra reportedly uses an enhanced version of ISOCELL HP2 200-megapixel sensor. This sensor apparently packed with Galaxy AI technology, bringing an amazing Zoom feature to the smartphone.

Samsung posted 3 teasers, showcasing the new Zoom feature of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, derived from Galaxy AI. The short video clips indicate ISOCELL Zoom Anyplace technology, which Samsung officially revealed in the past.

Zoom Anyplace feature allows you to zoom in even if the chosen subject is on the edge of the screen without modifying the angle of their full-scope filming.

Simply put, you can zoom in just about however you like. If you want to start a shot zoomed in on a subject and then zoom out, you can. If you want to do the inverse, you can do that, as well.

Galaxy AI’s intelligent camera algorithm may make Galaxy S24 Ultra capable of capturing specific places of an object or scenes using in-sensor cropping. And of course, it’s going to be a mindblowing camera feature in the next Galaxy.

As showcased in the teasers, the user could be able to zoom up the scene without losing the quality and resolution. The module packs 3x and 5x optical zoom sensors, as well as 10x optical-like quality performance in the S24 Ultra.

Samsung Chipset Semiconductor

Samsung is reportedly unveiling 1nm process tech next month. BusinessKorea reports that the company is preparing to hold a Foundry and SAFE Forum in Silicon Valley USA on June 12-13. Samsung is expected to reveal a roadmap for its 1nm semiconductor production.

According to the info, Samsung Foundry may share its technology roadmap including the 1nm process. The Korean tech giant will likely announce the advancement of its 1nm process mass production schedule, originally set for 2027, to 2026.

Back in June 2022, the company became the world’s first firm to mass-produce 3nm products. Meanwhile, reports say that TSMC’s work on the 2nm process is progressing smoothly. The firm is aiming to mass produce 2nm chipsets around 2025 (pre-planned).

The Taiwanese chip maker believes that it will gain more orders for its 2nm process than the 3nm process. The company has some reliable clients like Apple, which accounts for 25-30% of its sales. Qualcomm is also opting for TSMC’s 3nm for Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and later chips.

Samsung Foundry, on the other hand, is also putting efforts to win orders from international vendors. As the AI market is booming, the company is trying hard to secure large clients. HBM, which plays a key role in AI segment, is also in Samsung’s focus.
