Samsung recently started releasing the August 2023 security patch with Galaxy S20 FE and the company is now rolling out the latest security patch for another Galaxy smartphone – the Galaxy M14 5G. The new update is available in Brazil and the company will expand this update to more Galaxy M14 models in the coming days or weeks.
August 2023 security update for Samsung Galaxy M14 5G smartphone comes with One UI build version M146BXXS2AWG1. The latest update improves system security by installing the Android security patch.

Furthermore, Samsung is enhancing user experience with the release of One UI 6.1 to more devices including the Galaxy Tab A9, M23, A23, A14, Tab S6 Lite 2022, A05s, and F23 are set to receive this update. One UI 6.1 offers a more seamless and user-friendly experience.
Looking ahead, Samsung is preparing One UI 7.0, which will feature the innovative “Check time with Back-Tap” function. This feature is confirmed to be part of the Good Lock’s RegiStar app and will be available on the Galaxy Fold 6 and Flip 6 models. It allows users to check the time by tapping the back of their device, a convenient option when the screen is not visible or is turned off.

June 2024 security update rollout begins with Samsung Galaxy S24 series
Samsung has initiated the release of the June 2024 security update for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphones in the US. The update is currently available for locked models of the Galaxy S24 series on the Verizon network carrier.
The Korean tech giant has already published the details of the June 2024 Android security patch. According to the official information, the latest patch fixes 37 high-level CVEs for the Android operating system. In addition, Samsung is also including 22 SVE items in the update.
It resolves several issues including those affecting the grid image display, battery statistics services, call verification, the Samsung Dialer app, and more. Overall, the update improves system security and stability to provide a better Galaxy experience.

To check for software updates manually, head toward your phone’s Settings. At the bottom, you will get the Software Update section, simply open it. Inside the submenu, you need to hit the Download and Install button if your Galaxy fetches a new OTA.
