Yesterday, an alleged Galaxy S24 Plus powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 benchmarked on Geekbench. In terms of performance, the processor just defeated Samsung’s rumored Exynos 2400 by a huge margin.

Back in April, a tipster revealed early benchmark results of Samsung’s Exynos 2400 chipset. The processor scored an average of 1530 points in the single-core test and 6210 in the multi-core test on Geekbench.

Meanwhile, yesterday’s evidence suggests that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is way too powerful than Exynos, which scored 2233 and 6661 points in Geekbench 6.1’s single-core and multi-core tests.

Samsung is reportedly bringing back its Exynos chipset with the Galaxy S24 series. It’s rumored that consumers in Europe and parts of Asia will have no option other than purchasing an Exynos-powered flagship.

Meanwhile, things might change before the official release.

Samsung devices Circle to search feature

Circle to Search will be getting a significant functional boost later this year. At I/O 2024, Google confirmed to upgrade Android’s Circle to Search with the ability to help you get your homework done. The service will add support for Math and Physics topics to help users.

Google teased at I/O 2024 that Circle to Search will add new features, helping students better understand potentially difficult class topics. Looking at what Google teased, the feature could show them step-by-step instructions for a “range of physics and math word problems.”

Thanks to the LearnLM AI models, Circle to Search will be capable of understanding and demonstrating symbolic formulas, diagrams, graphs, and more. When available, it will be accessible as an experimental feature which could be activated through Google Account under the Labs section.

To recall, Circle to Search was first released with Samsung’s S24 series earlier this year. Later on, the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro received it through an OTA upgrade. It’s one of the star new features of Android, and although iOS users can’t yet circle their math homework for help, anything is possible.
