Samsung Global Goals Donation Leaderboard

Samsung Global Goals app highlights the importance of Sustainable Development Goals and engages in solving global challenges. Now, the company has updated the Samsung Global Goals app with new features including a Donation leaderboard function to make sharing easier and more enjoyable.

The Donation Leaderboard feature of the Samsung Global Goals app allows you to view donations from global or international users and your activity ranking. It provides opportunities for Galaxy users to learn about the need to donate to the Sustainable Development Goals, check the status of their donations, and encourage family, friends, and other Galaxy users to get involved.

In this way, Galaxy users can engage in giving while communicating in new and exciting ways to achieve the goals that matter most to them. Users can participate in the donation by setting their lock screen or viewing an ad in the app to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals in the app, and Samsung Electronics will match the donation amount 1:1 in the process.

Users can also view the Sustainable Development Goals, select the ones that are most meaningful to them, and donate directly. The SDG that has received the most donations so far is End Hunger, followed by Eradicate Poverty and Clean Water & Sanitation.

You just need to use your smartphone’s latest technology to participate in it.

The Samsung Global Golds app is an app jointly developed by Samsung Electronics and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) to help users contribute to a better global village. A total of US$10 million (about 13 billion won) has been donated.

WHatsApp Storage Chat filtering feature

WhatsApp for Android has pushed a new update with version 2.24.10.8, introducing a chat filtering feature for better storage management. This feature is currently in beta testing and available to some beta testers.

The Chat filtering feature of WhatsApp allows users to sort their chats and channels to make it easier to identify and manage storage with large files and vast chat history. With this feature, users can quickly find and delete unnecessary data, freeing up space on their devices by separating conversations.

Previously, WhatsApp had released basic chat filters such as “All”, “Unread”, and “Groups” to help users navigate their chat lists. The new update builds on this functionality to offer better organization of messages and media files.

This new feature is mainly beneficial for distinguishing between business accounts and channels that may have similar names or icons.

WhatsApp’s Chat filtering feature is expected to be made available to more beta testers soon and may be released to all users in a future update.
