How to send group text messages in Samsung phone [One UI 4.1]
Some news deserves to be shared with multiple people at once. What are group messages?
The chat room of three or more people, where you send messages, pictures, etc, is a Group message. There are two main types of messages, such as MMS and SMS. When you send a group message, the Samsung Messages app will automatically select MMS as the type of message. This lets you talk to multiple people at once.
To know what type of messaging you are using, you can view the messages in the app. For example, group messages will show MMS next to or below them. And when you’re not using group messaging, individual messages will display SMS for a few seconds after they’ve been received or sent.
How to Create and send group messages?
- Head over to the Samsung Messages app.
- Tap the New conversation icon at the bottom.
- You can select this from either the Conversations or the Contacts tab.
- Input the name or number of the first person.
- Or tap plus icon (+) to add someone from your Contacts.
- Again, tap (+) to add the next person.
- Continue adding your desired recipients to the group.
- Start typing your message, and then tap the Send icon.
- Your message will be sent to everyone you added to the group.
If you ever need to completely delete the group chat, just touch and hold the chat from the Conversations tab, and then tap Delete. Tap Move to Trash to confirm.

- Launch the Camera app
- Enable the Motion Photo feature by tapping on its icon.
- Click the shutter button as usual to take a photo
- Visit the Gallery and select your photo that has been successfully taken.
- Tap ‘View Motion Photo’ to explore the frames.
- Choose the best image in Motion Photo and apply ‘Quick Crop’.

How to activate it?
You can easily enable the Intelligent Optimization feature by following the steps below.
- Open the Camera app, then Settings.
- Tap on Intelligent Optimization.
- Choose the desired optimization level
- Maximum
- Medium: Speed up capture time by doing less optimization
- Minimum: Take pictures as fast as possible by not optimizing pictures after they are taken.
- Optionally, enable or disable the Scene Optimizer.
This feature allows for customization of photo attributes such as sharpness, contrast, and brightness. For example, selecting the minimum level results in more natural-looking images, while the maximum level increases detail and sharpness, which is ideal for zoomed-in shots. Notably, the quality optimization setting of these levels only affects Photo Mode.
If you enable Scene Optimizer, it automatically optimizes the color and contrast of pictures to make dark scenes look brighter, food looks tastier and landscapes look more vivid.
